Nick Offenberger

Coach Nick Offenberger was named Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator at McClintock High School in 2025. With over a decade of coaching experience across youth and high school levels, Coach Offenberger has built a reputation for developing winning cultures, producing elite-level talent, and investing in the character and leadership of the athletes he coaches.
Prior to McClintock, Coach Offenberger spent seven years at nationally recognized Saguaro High School, where he served in multiple roles across all levels of the program. He was the Freshman and JV Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator, going undefeated in all four seasons as a lower-level head coach. He also held roles on the varsity staff as Tight Ends Coach, Assistant Offensive Line Coach, and Varsity Coordinator. He was a part of four state championship teams, and two runner ups, during his time at Saguaro.
Beyond the high school sidelines, Coach Offenberger is the founder and former head coach of Future U Football, and spent years running the Scottsdale Argonauts, helping shape Arizona’s youth football landscape. Under his leadership, the Future U/Scottsdale Argonauts achieved 10 consecutive undefeated state championship seasons in the 8th grade division. He also served as the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Phoenix All-Stars, leading them to a national championship.
His impact on the sport extends beyond coaching. Coach Offenberger has served on multiple competition committees and youth football leadership boards, and remains deeply committed to growing the game of football by mentoring coaches, advocating for player safety and development, and expanding access to competitive football opportunities.
Most recently, Coach Offenberger served as Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Heritage Academy Laveen, where he set multiple school records, led a major cultural and academic turnaround, and created the highly regarded “Hero Wednesdays” leadership program that brought professionals from all walks of life to mentor student-athletes in leadership, life skills, and future planning.
Coach Offenberger’s core values — discipline, effort, toughness, accountability, and servant leadership — are embedded into every aspect of McClintock Football. He lives in Goodyear with his wife, step-daughter, two dogs and a baby on the way! He is proud to serve the students, families, and greater Tempe community.
